Wine Cellars
Wine Cellars, or wine rooms, can be custom made with
full built in racks. Cooling may be passive if in a
cool basement. If temperatures need to be controlled,
a cooling system can be used. A vapor barrier and insulation
are required when using a cooling system. The most popular
wood used to construct wine cellars is Unfinished Redwood.
Flooring can be tile, marble, slate or vinyl. Carpet
is not recommended as it will become moldy due to the
high moisture levels.
